Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has announced to launch a long march against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) towards Islamabad on February 27, saying the party will play its role in "ridding the masses of the incumbent government"
"We will launch a long march on February 27 from Mazar-e-Quaid to Islamabad," Bilawal announced while addressing a presser in Lahore on Thursday
"Our party has waged a struggled in the past to rescue Pakistan and we are ready to do so again," he told media persons
"We will make our effort to rid Pakistan of an illegitimate, ineligible and incapable government," he added
According to the PPP leader, "The workers of the party will reach Islamabad at all costs and put forth their demands
" He went on to add that his party wants "all institutions to remain neutral" as they wage the struggle

” “We have to liberate Pakistan again,” he remarked
Bilawal also demanded fair and transparent elections in the country, while also urging a thorough probe of the foreign funding case involving the ruling party
He also announced to move courts against the electronic voting machines (EVMs)
Turning his guns towards the Imran Khan-led government, the PPP chief said it had compromised the economic sovereignty of the country

Earlier today, both the PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) held separate meetings to devise their respective anti-government campaigns
According to PPP leaders, the party had decided to begin receiving applications for national and provincial assemblies soon, enabling the ticket holders to start campaigning in their constituencies
The PML-N also held an all-important meeting prior to today’s presser by the party’s Vice-President Maryam Nawaz, attended by Ahsan Iqbal, Shahid Khaqan Abbassi Rana Sanaullah and other leaders
