The Pearl-Continental Hotel in Karachi was the first-ever five-star Intercontinental Hotel in Pakistan, and has hosted Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela, and other world leaders and royalty. Its known for its classic luxury and an array of restaurants including Sakura serving authentic Japanese food on the hotels top floor, which has views of downtown Karachi. The hotels are owned and operated by Hashoo Group, one of the largest business houses in Pakistan.
