Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. As part of a skilled team, you will be the site subject matter expert on site controls and automation. You will ensure Health amp; Safety regulations are adhered to, company policies are followed, and departmental and site KPIs are met. Promoting continuous improvement (CI) and using it to better the department and site.What skills are you going to bring to the team?The ideal applicant will be a qualified, time-served apprentice trained in an engineering discipline, ideally to NVQ level 3.Determination to succeedIt’s essential you have excellent PLC and Electrical fault finding Skills.Experience with machinery safety systems.18th-edition knowledge is requiredHigh-level understanding of Variable speed drives, pneumatics, hydraulicsExperience in programming Allen Bradley PLCs.Experience in programming HMI/SCADA (FactoryTalk view/RSView32).High-level understanding of industrial networks ideally Ethernet and DeviceNet.Drive for Continuous improvement of site processes and infrastructure.A desire for self and site development.Excellent level of English, oral and writtenProgramming and maintenance of Fanuc robots is desirableFlexibility to adapt as per the needs of the business
