We CollaborateQontigo is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Team as Revenue Accounting Manager.RequirementsResponsibilities: Manage revenue recognition for the Analytics business, which includes performing monthly close activities, calculation of revenue run rate, revenue planning (budgeting amp; forecasting), reporting and analysis. Ensure complete, accurate and timely delivery of results. Thorough understanding of revenue drivers. Review transactions and perform the accounting analysis to determine the accounting treatment. Identify, research and analyze complex revenue recognition issues and successfully communicate position to Management and cross-functional non-accountants. Liaise with the sales, fulfillment, and IT teams to understand and improve the entire revenue cycle and implement improvements. Prepare and update revenue accounting policies and guidance through collaboration with the parent company’s Accounting Policy technical team to ensure compliance with both company policies and accounting standards. Present impact assessments and technical accounting updates to senior leaders and auditors. Support liason with external audit on revenue topics. Drive continuous process improvements, including design and documentation thereof, as well as effective monitoring of internal controls and SoX/IFRS compliance. Support the future implementation and roll out of a new revenue recognition solutionQualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent) 5-10 years of professional accounting experience. Experience at a public accounting firm is a plus.Experience with IFRS 15 required (software experience preferred). Experience with revenue automation tools (e.g., Zuora RevPro) is a plus, but not required. Experience with Salesforce preferred.A self-starter who can prioritize and manage multiple assignments, take initiative and work independently.A true team player with excellent leadership and collaborative skills. The ability to generate action and manage expectations in fast-paced situations.
