Key tasks and responsibilitiesThe Subsea Engineer will be responsible for the overall Project Subsea equipment hardware and operational readiness. The Subsea Engineer shall interact across all departments within BWE and be responsible for planning subsea operations, coordinate contractors, control expenditures, manage contracts and maintain system operability following company procedures and industry best practices, as well as adhere to regulation requirements. The Subsea engineer should be familiarized with both rig, intervention vessel, construction vessel, and ROV operations in general, and have the ability to write Subsea programs and work instructions for each.It’s desirable to have experience in manufacturing of subsea equipment, such as Wellhead, Tubing Hanger, Xmas Tree and associated Tooling, Control Systems, Well Re-entry Workover Systems, MOBO and subsea structures, such as: Manifolds, PLEM, PLETS, UTAs, Rigid Lines, Flexible Lines, etc.The Subsea Engineer shall be familiarized with applicable industry standards, such as: API 17 series, API 6A series, ISO 13628 series, ASME B31.8 and B31.4, etc.The Subsea Engineer shall ensure company fulfil regulatory requirements and must be familiar with SGIP, SGSS and SGSO.The Subsea Engineer is an office-based role but might be required to visit vessels and rigs to plan and/or execute activities on-demand, as well as trips to vendors’ yards. The Subsea Engineer might also be required to act as a supervisor offshore as well as carryout investigations related to any incidents. Key duties include: Ensure BWE’s Drilling, Completion, Intervention and Construction schedule and/or Project Schedule is supported by ensuring on-time delivery by Subsea Hardware Supplier.The Subsea Engineer is expected to critically analyze subsea mechanical, hydraulic and intervention equipment designs for weakness and carryout lessons learned/identified with existing hardware and develop workarounds to meet operational requirements.The Subsea Engineer is expected to plan, review and assess equipment in storage and viability for use subsea and create Scope of Work for equipment repair/refurbishment to make operational. The Subsea Engineer is expected to critically analyze and assess existing documentation (any deviations, risk assessment, etc) and highlight errors and gaps and create Scopes of Work, designs or risk assessments to allow continuation of safe operations on the field.The Subsea Engineer shall be responsible for tooling provision and availability to react and plan for each subsea intervention well intervention ed in the most safe and cost-effective manner.The Subsea Engineer will assess, and contribute to the SGIP, SGSS and SGSO documentation requirements. Monitor technical amp; operational performance of vendors and HSE compliance. Maintain BWE subsea tooling amp; equipment.Participate in Risk Assessments
