In this role, you will be working under guidance from the IT Helpdesk Team Leader in London providing IT support to users located across North America, along with undertaking infrastructure changes to network and server equipment located locally in the NYC office under instruction from our IT Infrastructure Manager and Engineers in London.The specific responsibilities for this role include:Monitoring the IT Helpdesk and delivering Desktop support to colleagues across the business, initially focusing on our colleagues in the Fourth Economy Consulting divisionKeeping the Fourth Economy management team updated on the status of Helpdesk callsTroubleshooting hardware, software amp; network connectivity issuesRebuilding Windows 10 amp; Apple Mac laptops for users across North America sometimes physically in NYC, sometimes remotelyArranging shipment and collections of laptops to and from staff members (e.g. via Fedex)Where necessary performing laptop upgrades (e.g. RAM upgrades) and laptop repairs, or arranging these with HP / Apple SupportProvide support for Conference Room technologiesSupport North American office leaders with upgrades and alterations to offices, including desk setup changes, liaising with contractors relating to electrical and network cabling. This may require occasional out of hours working. It may also require organization and management of third party tradesmenOrdering new laptops, workstations, mobile phones amp; peripherals for our North American officesUpdating IT inventories of equipment held in our North American officesIdentifying companies that can take old / redundant equipment from each of these offices for recycling or secure disposalOccasional travel may be required to visit other North American offices
