The director will collect, report, and analyze academic and retention data for students, serve on appropriate committees on campus related to student academic support, and support students with identified learning disabilities to provide them with the accommodations they need to be successful. The director leads planning for Summer Orientation and First Days for arriving new students, working in with the admissions office, student life, academic advising, and offices across campus. In coordination with Student Academic Support Office and Advising Office staff, they will develop and implement academic support programs across campus and with various student, faculty, athletics, and staff constituencies to promote student academic success.RequirementsQualifications· Master’s degree in higher education or related field required.· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills· Strong computer skills and a comfort with managing social media sites· Experience working with student information systems (aka Banner)· Knowledge and understanding of student success strategies and best practices.· Able to work nights and weekends.Experience· 1-3 years of experience working with college students required.· 2-5 years of experience working in academic advising or academic development is preferred.Application ProcessPlease apply above and include a cover letter, resume, and three professional references with their names, email addresses and telephone numbers.
