The Accounting Assistant will report to the Banking Team Leader and will be responsible toclosely collaborate with the team located in Sweden.Responsibilities: Ensures all invoices are paid on time Daily reconciles and documents bank accounts in multiple currencies and entities Checks and performs refunds and searches for payments requested from other departments Supports and performs Banking tasks in month-end and year-end closing processes Efficiently and effectively communicates in internal and external channels regarding open invoices and payments Has an eye for detail and the ability to multitaskRequirements Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field Working Experience of 3-4 years in an international group with multiple FX transactions Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and familiarity with financial accounting statements Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proven experience in Banking is an asset Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills Relevant certification (e.g. ACCA, CMA) will be considered a plus Accuracy and attention to detail Fluency in English (verbal and written)BenefitsWe are looking for people who would make the world smaller for travelers but want a bigger world of opportunities for themselves.
