Part-Time Billing Support Associate Jobs in Amsterdam, United States

Gruntwork is looking for a part-time billing support associate who will be responsible for formalizing billing procedures and facilitating a smooth and efficient billing and payment process for all customers, including those with non-standard billing requirements. This person will report to the Head of Finance and work closely with a junior bookkeeper and members of the sales team. In addition to billing support, you will occasionally be asked to provide administrative support such as event planning for team offsites, or purchasing company gifts. Gruntwork is a start-up, and so we all need to wear multiple hats, stay organized, communicate effectively, and have an ownership mentality.This is a contractor position, currently estimated at 10-15 hours / week, although that may be higher initially as you set up policies and procedures, and may grow over time as the company grows.ResponsibilitiesMonitor inbound emails from customers with billing questions or requests; provide timely, polite and professional communication in reply.Address billing requests from new and existing customers quickly and accurately, in a standardized manner. Record issues or changes when needed, and communicated internally.Create and maintain a complete list of all customers who do not autopay monthly, with details on their billing process and purchase order requirementsSet up and document processes for customers that require internal approvals or purchase orders, so that they are contacted in advance of annual renewals and invoices are submitted according to their billing requirementsContact customers who are late to pay invoices, following standardize protocol and email templatesMake changes to subscriptions in Stripe Billing, as neededDocument and track all communications and processes
