This role has superb working knowledge of US Tax code for small C-corporations and individuals, the ability to concisely and clearly communicate complex issues, have an eye for efficiency through software and scalable practices, and a desire to make a difference with clients.What You'll Be DoingLead a team comprised of Tax Staff Accountants. Review work output and provide training as neededRecognize, anticipate, and proactively address tax issues and opportunities with clientsReview and prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals and corporations with related income tax work papersPerform tax technical research as needed; prepare memos to document and communicate findingsReview work of other accounting team members to identify training opportunities and systems improvementsKnow the technical aspects of Guidant’s product offering and effectively communicate the value proposition; respond to objections, questions, concerns, and other frequently asked questionsMonitor legislative changes and proposals and assess impact on tax strategy
