You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications. (It’s also a fact that women and underrepresented groups tend to only apply when they check every box)4 to 6 years of experience in system administration, including installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows server-based environments, Active Directory, GPO, anti-virus etc, as well Possess significant cloud experience, preferably in AzureAble to administer and perform tuning of application stacks (e.g. Tomcat, Apache, NGINX)Strong networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, RDS) Experienced in virtualisation and containerisation (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V)Able to administer and perform tuning of application stacks (e.g. Tomcat, Apache, NGINX)Hands-on experience with scripting is highly regardedTaking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolutionExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbalResearching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve system issues including account setup and network configurationFollowing standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teamsFlexibility to provide weekend support
