VetCT has an exciting opportunity to join us as a Credit Control Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern, global, forward thinking veterinary business as well as an amazing accounts team! The Credit Control Manager role will involve managing all aspects of invoicing, collections, and monthly reporting. This is an autonomous position that within an established global finance team. This role is suitable for someone who has worked in a previous global credit control manager role and has a proven record of improving processes for scalability. RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesLooking after and managing all monthly invoicing, manual invoicing, ad hoc invoicing as well as subscriptions Develop and maintain good relationships across the business, and an understanding of our clients, to reduce persistent payment problems.Build sustainable relationships with our clients to encourage prompt payment, allow swift resolution of queries, and support repeat instructions, via regular contact by phone and email.Work to monthly cash targets, manage all aspects of the UK, US, AUS and CAD ledgers and take ownership for resolving queries.Aged debtor reporting.Reconcile queried/disputed transactions on accounts to resume collection of cash.Entering cash receipts, processing credit card payments, collecting Direct Debits, raising, and issuing invoices and credit notes as requiredPreparation of monthly Bad Debt provisionProducing timely and accurate management informationDocumenting core processes with clear responsibility/accountability on processesDeliver a Credit Control improvement plan, some of which may require minor system development but primarily driving adherence to process.Ensure best practice and continuous improvement of controls, policies, and procedures.
