We are seeking someone in the New Orleans, LA area primarily.*The Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting event organizers of trade shows, conventions, and corporate meetings for all lines of Shepard's business with a focus on the General Service Contractor offering.Essential Job DutiesSolicit event organizers of trade shows, conventions, and corporate meetings with revenue models of more than $200,000Meet or exceed annual sales goal at acceptable profitability targets Build relationships with assigned customers and prospects to retain customers and build future pipeline of opportunitiesDemonstrates a constant effort to find new business by performing outbound sales calls and/or in- person prospecting of new businessBuild pipeline to include a balance of short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities in the assigned marketVisit local facilities as assigned for lead generation and referral opportunities. Attend local industry events as needed Actively engage with customers and prospects year-round to ensure Shepard’s consultative sales approach and service standardsBuild quotes and provide pricing to customers through a Shepard proposal. Customize proposal documents as needed Maintain all reporting and benchmark requirements including Salesforce to date Provide written orders of event requirements to Shepard’s operations staff and communicate with all internal departments to successfully produce event as needed Provide onsite support as needed Treat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect, as outlined in our Blue Diamond Customer Service ProgramAll other duties as assigned
