Design and build tools and services in Go, Python, Bash, RestAPIs to automate testing infrastructure. Build Python and Selenium based automation frameworks to be used by software testers for writing test cases. Use databases such as Postgres, TimescaleDB and MySQL to store and verify operational data. Perform design and peer code review to improve and maintain the quality of the automation tools and framework. Collaborate with quality and tools team to review and write test plans and specifications. Review product requirements with product managers for writing technical test specifications for the same. Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot, and analyze defects in the product and platform and report them in a bug tracking system like JIRA. Build and maintain CI/CD systems, such as Jenkins, to execute the automated test suites. Maintain the QA infrastructure and test environment in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) on top of GKE and other distributed system platform components like Kafka, Zookeeper, Docker and Vault. Telecommuting allowed.Education and Experience Required:Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field and 12 months of experience.
