Make your mark with transformative products and technologies, alongside some of Canada’s most successful leaders and tech minds.About The Role:The full-time opportunity for Financial Crimes Business Analyst is part of the Financial Crimes Team dedicated to the prevention and detection of financial crime activity to protect Neo and its customers. The Financial Crimes team consists of Financial Crime Operations, FinCrime Business Analysts, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management.Key Responsibilities:Identify the small, medium, and large-scale patterns of financial crime activity within case management solutions and back-end databases.Collect and analyze data to help identify gaps in Neo’s ecosystem that contribute to the occurrence or increased financial crime risk to Neo.Create business reports and incident briefs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to effectively communicate financial crime risks and mitigation tactics.Assist in building and executing the fraud/aml education program in order to upskill all Neo colleagues and educate customers.Collaborate with team members to improve reporting, fraud detection, and prevention while keeping stakeholders informed across all stages.Support overall Financial Crime strategy by participating in and leading specific initiatives.Coordinate with relevant professional organizations to understand current and future financial crime risks across Canada and contribute to knowledge in the Canadian financial crime landscape.Protecting Neo and its customers is a crucial component in its constant evolution.
