Built Mighty / Little Rhino is a fully remote US-based Web Development company focused on building great software and solutions for our customers. With 28 employees around the US supporting custom Laravel applications and helping e-commerce companies achieve more with WooCommerce and WordPress.We are looking for a skilled and experienced Laravel developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining web applications using the Laravel web framework. This involves writing clean and efficient PHP code, as well as working with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. All of our development and communication are performed in the cloud, so you must be comfortable developing software on remote servers.The Laravel developer will be responsible for the full development life cycle of web applications, from concept and design to testing and deployment. They will work closely with other members of the development team, as well as with designers and project managers, to ensure that the final product meets the needs of the client and the end users.This W2 position has flexible hours ranging from 30-40 hours a week depending on availability and skill level.Requirements4+ years of experience as a developer2+ years of experience with LaravelMust have backend development experienceExperience working with Vue.js frameworkExperience working with Agile methodologiesKnowledge of web development technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Experience with software testing and debuggingKnowledge of how to implement and maintain database schemaFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)Familiarity with DevOps, Apache, and server configurationMust be US based. Currently not accepting candidates from New York.Must be able to Develop fully remote in the CloudUnderstanding of UML DiagramsExperience with Docker and or VS Code is a plus.
