Texas Market Manager, Strategic Accounts Off-Premise Jobs in Dallas, United States
Responsible for communication and execution of DAOU programming in Texas retail chains as outlined by Chain Division. Will manage key store level relationships and work in collaboration with distributor retail teams. Will maintain relationships with the distributor Area Managers, District Managers, and Sales amp; Merchandising Reps for the state and help offer support to various markets. The Texas Market Manager, Strategic Accounts Off Premises primary focus will be store level sales and execution and will have an active presence in the marketplace. This requires an understanding of analytical rigor and true fact-based selling skills to drive share volume growth within all chains. Position will require strong leadership skills and ability to assist in team meetings to educate RNDC on product and programs, give direction, track monthly goals and display success. This position will work with the local DAOU BDM/DMs to execute in-store support of our portfolio. Position has the potential to oversee Regional HQ Calls as outlined by Director of Retail Chains, Central.Position ResponsibilitiesPosition will work directly with the distributor sales team and coordinate with DAOU BDM/DM to build chain presence throughout the market.Position will be responsible for achieving TX Retail Chain goal in coordination with Chain Director and local DAOU sales management.70% of time should be spent in market, developing accounts and managing distributor execution. 30% of time should be dedicated to working closely with the RNDC Chain Division to develop and outline Quartely/Yearly execution planning.Strong organizational and follow up skills to ensure distributor partners and sales teams are held to DAOU Brand Standards at all times.Establish and maintain relationships with the top cluster store(s)/wine managers by chain in TX Market. Confer with management and sales personnel to formulate plans for meeting competition and improving sales.Represent DAOU by participating in wine tastings and demos, such as trade show tastings, In-Store demos/tastings, new store/grand openings, etc.Manages state chain demo calendar including booking monthly demos amp; managing spend/forecast. Responsible for tracking, updating, and assisting in development of wholesaler incentive programs.Execution of Marketing programs including displays and point of sale.Required to Travel when needed throughout Texas, to conduct regular market visits and work-with our distributor and DAOU Team members.
