We are looking for a transformational VP of People to join our fast-growing Fintech scale-up. Sharegain is a leading capital markets FinTech democratizing the $3 trillion securities lending market through our unique Securities Lending as a Services (SLaaS) solution, which empowers every investor with income generating solutions that were previously restricted to big financial institutions.Sharegain’s end-to-end digital solution combines full control and transparency with minimal overheads or up-front costs, enabling online brokers, private banks, asset managers and custodians to lend their stocks, bonds, and ETFs, and generate additional revenue for their own business and their clients.As Sharegain continues to scale, we are seeking a transformational VP of People to lead all aspects of the HR/People function. You will be a member of the executive leadership team and play a strategic role in supporting the continuous growth and development of the company’s HR function and the entire organization.You will work directly with the founders and the executive team as a thought partner to shape a comprehensive strategy, design and operationalize HR. You will develop and run innovative programs that both enhance employee development/engagement and drive a high performing culture.The VP of People will hold a critical dual role as both a functional leader of people and culture and a senior business advisor with extensive knowledge of and contribution to the company’s strategy, priorities, and operations. Providing inspirational leadership to all members of the organization, you will create an agile HR agenda that keeps pace with Sharegain’s expansion, champion better ways to improve business performance while maintaining an exceptional employer value proposition and drive a steep change in the Company’s ability to attract, engage and develop the highest quality talent. Define/implement an HR team structure, roles, and responsibilities on a global scale, that enables long-term, scalable growth. Drive initiatives to build sustainable competitive advantage through the selection and development of top talent that possess the capabilities that help differentiate the company in a highly competitive marketArticulate and outline HR strategy and execution plans to the executive management team, other business stakeholders; serve as an advisor and thought leader to these groups in relation to driving/adjusting the talent agenda to achieve growth objectives and broader organizational goalsEnsure efficiency of HR operations by enhancing visibility of performance through metrics; Evaluate and assess current utilization and scalability of HR systems to ensure they support organizational needsOwn the suite of tools and workflows to support all HR functions and processes. Use data in innovative ways to drive insight into employee performance and engagement and improve the effectiveness of all programsDrive talent management initiatives including leadership development, career progression, global mobility, succession planning, organizational and performance management, talent retention and compensationWork closely with the leadership team to ensure identification and development of talent pipeline and building robust talent depth for key roles with a deliberate, consistent focus on diversity, equity, and inclusionServe as a role model and catalyst for a company culture that promotes people first. They must be able to lead in a helpful, roll-up their sleeves manner that is people-centric and non-bureaucratic.
