We pride ourselves on a culture of teamwork - because we are a smaller company you have opportunity to be involved in every aspect of a project and make an impact from start to finish.The Account Manager is responsible for finding new business opportunities to grow the hydraulic power unit (HPU) and control systems business nationwide as well as manage existing client business. This position plays an important role for revenue growth for SIT, and will work with sister company account managers as a systems specialist as well as find opportunities from prospecting (while focused in Texas amp; Louisiana, not limited to geographic territory)Specific responsibilities may include:Partner with clients as an extension of their engineering team to design, specify and manage HPU and control systems projects.Prospect for new clients by researching target markets, developing a list of target accounts and making cold calls to find new business.Maintain project communication with client, engineering team, project management and shop personnel.Manage client facing aspects of project to ensure project timeline is acceptable to client as well as clear definition and management of scope of project.Partner with sales teams at GCC and Hydraquip (sister companies) to help find and secure systems opportunities at current clients.Complete call reports within the CRM as specified by company standards.Support complete lifecycle of equipment (from design startup troubleshooting service amp; repair) to build a long-lasting trusted relationship with clients.Develop sales forecasts and business plans for assigned clients amp; prospective clients.Assess and maintain a competitive company sales position and market position for established accounts.Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program and conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting Quality Management System objectives.Other duties as assigned
