Our companyAlani Nutrition is a health and wellness brand that sells supplements, fitness snacks, and energy drinks through ecommerce and retail partnerships.The roleA Transportation Manager is responsible for helping lead and mentor the multi-brand transportation team, while ensuring all aspect of transportation are executed at a high level continuously.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Problem solving for transportation, logistics systems, or customer issues.Negotiate transportation rates and services.Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding all financial goals for the department. Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.Responsible for optimal route structure and implementation, routing systems, demand planning, and overall logistics support.Serve as the focal point for the administration and oversight of the logistics process. This will include benchmarking, negotiating, and managing third party vendor contracts and service levels.Explore process change opportunities amp; drive continuous improvement.Work effectively as a team member amp; leader cross-functionally within the transportation team.Execute, support, monitor, amp; achieve Logistics KPIs.Develop and manage service provider relationships and ensure accountability.
