Responsibilities include driving the TEP van between campuses, maintaining the school campus, deep cleaning of the facility, and daily operational tasks.This individual will typically work 8 hours per day Monday through Friday.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Drive the TEP van between campuses, delivering and picking-up food for studentsClean classrooms and offices according to schedule, including desks, furniture, floors and windowsSweep, mop, strip and buff floors where necessaryInspect, clean, disinfect and stock bathrooms on a daily basisUpkeep school exterior including sweeping, trash and recycling collection and disposal and snow removal as neededKeep storage rooms organized and monitor inventory levels of supplies and timely communicate needs to Facilities SupervisorPerform minor repair work including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentryUnload and transport deliveries to mail room as neededSet up and break down rooms for special eventsRespond to facilities related requests from staff in a prompt and courteous mannerAlert Facilities Supervisor of any facilities related deficiencies or safety hazards encountered during regular rounds such as lights, doors, locks, and bathroom fixturesPerform special projects during school breaks that may require heavy lifting (up to 40 pounds), light repair, and deep cleaning of school spaces
