MINGORA/ABBOTTABAD: Results for the Higher Secondary School Certificate examinations 2016 were announced in Swat and Abbottabad. In Swat, the first position was clinched by a female candidate from a private educational institute of Mingora. According to a copy of the results, Ruhsar Khan of Swat Public School and College Swat, topped the exam by scoring 1,023 marks out of 1,100 marks. She was followed by Masroor Anwar of Government Degree Collage Mingora, who got 1,018 marks and grabbed the second position. The third position was secured by Saba Rukh of Swat Public School and college Swat, she got 1,012 marks. According to gazette shared with the local media, a total of 52,658 candidates appeared in the exams in Abbottabad and the passing percentage of the board was 67.59%. At least 26 out of 38 candidates who secured the top 20 positions were girls. As per the results, Eman Aslam, a student of Peace Group of School and College, Mansehra topped the board by scoring 977 marks. She was followed by Ehzaz Ashraf of Government Akhtar Nawaz Khan Shaheed College Khalabat Township, Haripur who stood second with 976 marks.
