The debate on which footballer is the best may never get old, with everyone comparing Argentinian Lionel Messi or Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, but Pakistani cricketers have revealed their favourite out of the two.

Messi and Ronaldo play for two Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively and recently both represented their national teams in two different competitions. Messi’s Argentina lost the Copa America final while Ronaldo inspired his team to a 2016 Euro title.

And this might be the reason that Pakistani cricketers are more inclined towards the trickery of Ronaldo rather than the pure skill of Messi.

Out of a total of ten cricketers, six opted for Ronaldo as their favourite player and only two said they admired Messi.
