Veteran batsman Younus Khan was caught behind early on day three as he tried to guide a leggish delivery towards fine leg off Chris Woakes in the third Test at Edgbaston.

Pakistan walked in to bat on day three with 257-3 on board but Younus could add only 10 runs to his overnight score of 21.

Jonny Bairstow took a simple catch behind the stumps as Younus edged one down the leg towards the English wicketkeeper.

Misbahul Haq, who walked in to bat today, is now joined by Asad Shafiq on the crease.

A five-wicket haul by Sohail Khan on day one and a century from Pakistan ODI captain Azhar Ali on the second day ensured that the visitors dominated the third Test against England at Edgbaston.

However, after Azhar’s fall on the last ball of day two, England will be relying on the new ball and the first hour of play to get back into this match with Younus Khan on the crease and his partner to walk in.

Meanwhile, opener Sami Aslam’s contribution of 82 runs cannot be undermined after Mohammad Hafeez was dismissed for a naught on the fourth ball of day two.

Is Sarfraz Ahmed going to move up the order or Misbahul Haq will not tamper the batting order? The questions will be answered as soon as the match starts.
