Balochistan province: SSGC to provide gas in 14 new localities
ISLAMABAD: The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) would provide natural gas connections in 14 new localities of two districts of Balochistan during the current financial year, official sources in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources said. “The company has plans to supply gas to 14 localities of districts Qila Abdullah and Jaffarabad of the Balochistan province under the Pak MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) Community Development Programme,” they said, adding that all gas supply schemes would be completed by June 2017 for which Rs547.505 million had been allocated. They further said that both SSGCL and SNGPL had carried out surveys in their respective areas for providing gas to the villages falling within five km radius of the gas fields.
