DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Health Department has set up medical camps to treat people in flood-affected areas. A spokesperson for the department said on Monday that so far, 1,000 patients from Basti Farid Beet Chainwala, Rind Adda and Morjhangi in Taunsa Sharif tehsil had visited the medical camps. The spokesperson said three stationed teams and three mobile teams had been sent to affected areas to treat patients. He said they had sufficient stocks of first aid medicines. As many as 48 patients with fever, 156 patients with skin diseases, 26 with eye diseases and another 305 patients complaining of various ailments had been given free treatment at some of the medical camps in the area. He said 131 mosquito nets had been distributed.
