One piece three ways: Amrapali

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. We ask three fashionistas to put together an outfit using the same item from a designer’s collection, according to their style and taste!

Various artisans handcrafted the traditional ‘Mayura Motif’ choker, with red threads, to perfection. This timeless Amrapali collectable is set in sterling silver, and is gold-plated with carefully selected green onyx and pearls.

My style is very casual as my make-up is always very loud and therefore I like to keep my clothes subtle and simple. However, I love adding a pop of colour with accessorises. I wore white ripped jeans with a white collared shirt because I wanted the piece to stand out. I paired this with gold Christian Louboutin heels. I got my hair blow-dried and for make-up, I went for simple eyeliner and ‘Please Me’ by MAC lipstick. I finished my look with some blush and mascara. I would wear this outfit to a formal dinner or a birthday.

My personal style is very classic. Usually you’ll see me in all-black, as the colour is so minimal and chic. I like elegant things and therefore I always try to carry myself in a sophisticated manner. I styled this lovely choker with a black Zara top and Zara pants. I then wore Chanel mules from the brand’s new ‘Paris Rome’ collection. I did the hair and make-up myself. I would wear this ensemble to a formal dinner or a family gathering.

I would describe my personal style as minimal-classic, but always elegant. I wore a white kaftan from my own label’s Eid collection. I love wearing solid colours and I generally always have my hair straightened. For make-up, I went for my usual mascara and blush-on with ‘Catherine’ by NARS lipstick. To accessorise further, I wore a Hermès clutch and Le Silla Swarovski pumps.  I would wear this look to a brunch or an engagement party.
