Trend spotting: A Flair for fringe

If you’re not rocking fringe already then come autumn, you probably will be. Judging by what we have been spotting our favourite Hollywood A-listers like Victoria Justice, Jennifer Garner and Rachel Zoe in lately, choppy edges are curretly having a major moment. This stylishly slashed style is lining tops, dresses and jackets as well as bags, shoes and earrings everywhere. So yes, any way you slice it, fringe is in. As compiled from InStyle, here’s how a flirty trim added an extra oomph to even the most sophisticated outfits, donned by these fashionistas.

Victoria Justice

Either this beautiful starlet is straight-up magic or she has a wizard as a fashion stylist. Always spot on with her everyday attires, the American actor and model looked hot to trot in a whitish-grey fringed collared shirt. We absolutely adored how she coupled the top with a pair of ripped skinny jeans to accentuate the street style look. Choosing black heeled boots, we feel this diva certainly took the trend up a notch!

Jennifer Garner

The Miracles from Heaven actor looked every bit a heavenly being in an Oscar de la Renta, silver tulle-tiered fringed gown with beaded embroidery. The strappy floor-length strappy cinched at the waist, complementing her fit frame and then fell loose in layered fringes until the bottom. Garner accessorised her look with a silver stone-studded clutch and diamond studs. While she definitely has a flair for fringe, we could not help but notice her hair was done up in a side fringe as well!

Rachel Zoe

Being a leading fashion stylist, she has dressed some of the biggest names in Hollywood. So it comes as no surprise that the 43-year-old mother-of-two has a sharp eye for everything trendy. As she attended a breakfast event for Icons of Style this year, Zoe looked stunning in an oversized, burgundy fringed cape from Burberry Prosum’s latest collection. She paired the heavy cape with an embellished maxi dress that swamped her tiny frame. Ten out of ten to this fashion guru!
