Grammy Award winning singer Justin Bieber has threatened to make his Instagram account private because of the abuse directed towards his new girlfriend on the social media platform. His ex, Selena Gomez didn’t digest this threat too well and took to social media to bash him.

The 22-year-old said on the photo-sharing website: “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate, this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”

The Sorry hit maker replied to Selena on Instagram saying:

Selena, then posted a picture with her fans to show Bieber that it is because of their fans that they’ve managed to come this far.
