Pakistan take on Ireland in first ODI



Pakistan are eager to improve their ODI ranking as they go head-to-head against Ireland in the first game of two-match series at Malahide on Thursday.

Currently ranked ninth in the world, Pakistan have made major overhauls in the squad, with the return of pacer Umar Gul as well as newcomer Hasan Ali, who is yet to appear for the national team in ODIs, but has impressed in domestic competitions.
