ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have arrested two men for allegedly raping a woman in Sector G-13 on Sunday.
The victim* had allegedly been lured by the suspects to a house in the locality with promises of a job. Once there, the men allegedly gang-raped her.
A police officer told The Express Tribune that an initial medical examination of the woman had confirmed sexual assault. Moreover, the suspects had allegedly confessed to the police that they raped the woman.
The two suspects have been remanded into police custody for three days by a court in the capital.
Meanwhile, the victim’s husband told the police that one of the suspects had allegedly promised his wife a job as a domestic helper.
