Eight terrorists among 15 suspects held in Balochistan raids

Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan arrested on Thursday 15 suspects, including eight terrorists involved in attacks on police, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said.

“FC conducted IBOs [intelligence based operations] in Zhob, Sibbi, Dera Murad Jamali Mach and Killi Ismail,” the military’s media wing said in a statement.

The military’s media wing added that 70kgs of explosive, weapons and ammunition and communication equipment were recovered during the raids.

Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, a military offensive against the “latent threat of terrorism”, was launched in February 2017.
