Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan foiled a major terrorist activity by recovering improvised explosive devices (IEDs) during a raid in Mastung.
“Through an IBO [intelligence based operation] in Mastung based on lead from apprehended suspects, [FC] recovered cache of arms, ammunition and explosives including sniper rifles, grenade and IEDs hidden in caves for a major terrorist activity,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

Seventy kilogrammes of explosive, weapons and ammunition and communication equipment were also recovered during the operation.
Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, a military offensive against the “latent threat of terrorism”, was launched in February 2017.
