Pakistani celebrities have gathered outside the Karachi Press Club today to protest against the rape and murder of eight-year-old Zainab in Kasur, Punjab.
Renowned faces such as Faysal Quraishi, Ayesha Omar and Nadia Hussain spoke to the media outside. Qureshi said, “We have addressed a similar issue before. We have made various dramas about it as well. But here’s the thing…How can a five or six-year-old girl resist a grown man?”
Zainab i am so sorry. I am ashamed of what has happened to you. I pray that those people die the most difficult death and burn in hell.
I can't even imagine the agony her family must be going through.#JusticeForZainab
