ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday asked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to submit all details of its intra-party elections with the commission by January 24.
A five-member bench of the commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (retd) Sardar Muhammad Raza, while hearing the PTI intra-party election case, said the reply submitted by the PTI with the ECP was incomplete.
The CEC said that the PTI did not provide all details which the ECP had sought from them. He said the PTI also failed to provide details of votes which were cast to the contesting panels.
He said all details which were required of the PTI in accordance with the order of December 13 were not provided to the ECP.
The commission fixed the next date of the hearing on January 24.
PTI spokesperson says the two leaders will address the rally separately
