KARACHI: The whole country is in a state of shock following the recent death of Naseemullah alias Naqeebullah, a 27-year-old young man from South Waziristan who was shot dead in an alleged police encounter by policemen led by the SSP Malir. As such incidents keep occurring we, the citizens, would further feel vulnerable and defenceless before the police. The Sindh government has ordered an inquiry into the incident to ascertain facts. Now what matters is that justice ought to prevail so that people’s faith in state institutions is not eroded.
