Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto has said that Pakistan will suffer if the judges in the country continue to play politician, Express News reports.
In a post on the social media platform Twitter, the PPP chief noted that a Law Reforms Commission under the supervision of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) had already been formulated, with top judges from all four provinces as members.
Sindh excels in public health domain, says Bilawal
“According to the law, this commission is required to meet four times in a single year. However, no such meeting has taken place since 2015,” he observed.
Law Reforms Commission headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan and has all provincial Chief Justices as members.Under the Rules,it has to meet 4 times a year. They haven’t met since 2015. While judges continue to play politician & do all jobs but theirs – justice suffers in Pakistan.

Apparently referring to the current political turmoil in Pakistan, Bilawal also took another jibe at the superior judiciary.
“While judges continue to play politician and do all jobs but theirs – justice suffers in Pakistan.”
