179 litres wine seized


ISLAMABAD: A squad of the Islamabad Police arrested a bootlegger and recovered dozens of bottles of wine from him, a police spokesperson said on Sunday. The Shams Colony police had received a tip-off about the bootlegger. Superintendent of Police -Industrial Area Liaqat Hayat Naizi tasked Shams Colony police SHO Inspector Mehr Nusrat to tackle the suspect. The squad set up a picket on the IJP Road near Social Security Hospital to check for the suspect. They stopped a suspicious car (QY-013) for checking. During the search, they recovered 179 litres of wine.
