Upcoming Trade Policy: MCCI urges to be export competitive

MULTAN: The business community in southern Punjab has urged the government to make the upcoming trade policy feasible and according to ground realities.

The Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has expressed hope that the policy will be focused on enhancement of export competitiveness.

“Today the country’s industries are facing multiple challenges including high input cost, poor innovation, low productivity, little foreign investment, lack of product and geographical diversification,” the MCCI chief was quoted as saying.
