A group of tribal elders from the Mehsud clan met Inspector General (IG) Sindh on Thursday in Karachi, Express News reported.
The elders met the police official under the leadership of Rehmat Khan Mehsud. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Azad Khan and Personal Secretary to IG Sindh Saeed Salman Hussain were also present on the occasion.

The group of men from the tribal areas expressed their utmost confidence in the members of the investigation team currently probing the murder of Naqeebullah Mehsud in a fake police encounter, according to sources.
We appreciate the transparent and impartial steps taken by the investigation team looking into the murder of Naqeebullah Mehsud, tribal elders were quoted as saying.
The delegation also said that the example set by the investigation team would not only raise the morale of the police force but also promote the cause of justice in the country.
“By looking into every possible aspect of the crime, we hope to resolve the case in a fair and impartial manner,” IG Sindh told tribal elders in response to their comments.

“Sindh Police is working day and night to safeguard the people of the province. Respect for the law should be held in high regard by not only the citizens, but the police, above all others, as well,” the Inspector General added.
IG Sindh also promised to hold those responsible for the murder of Naqeebullah Mehsud accountable for their actions.
