Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world observed ‘Black Day’ marking India’s Republic Day in protest against the country’s continued denial of their right to self-determination.
The day will be marked with a complete strike in IoK and anti-India demonstrations and rallies in world capitals.
The Joint Resistance Leadership, in a statement issued in Srinagar, has urged people to hold peaceful demonstrations and rallies across the length and breadth of the territory after Friday prayers, Radio Pakistan reported.
On the other hand, the puppet authorities have put the entire occupied Kashmir under siege to ensure smooth conduct of Republic Day.
Meanwhile, protest rallies and demonstrations will be held across Azad Kashmir to highlight brutalities of Indian forces in the occupied valley.
Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi said if the United Nations does not abide by its own resolutions then the faith in the humanitarian body will eventually deteriorate.
She added saying that Pakistan is with those struggling to fight those whose lands have been occupied, be it Indian Occupied Kashmir or Palestine, we stand strong with them.
Maleeha said that UN Security Council’s Resolution 478 suggests all countries to put pressure on the US to not go ahead with shifting the embassy in Jerusalem.
