Experts discuss diabetes management
Sanofi Pakistan convened a conference of local healthcare professionals and eminent international experts in Islamabad. Representing the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), the speakers covered a wide range of topics in the management of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus during the three-day programme that extended from January 25 to 27). Prominent among the speakers were Dr Leszek Czupryniak (Poland,) Dr Evgenia Patrakeeva (Russian Federation) Didac Mauricio (Spain), Asimina Mitrakou-Fanariotou (Greece) and Nasir Farid (Sanofi Pakistan Diabetes BU Head).
