Blast in garbage bin leaves one dead in Hyderabad


HYDERABAD: At least a man was killed in an explosion in Hyderabad on Monday, Express News reported.

According to preliminary reports, a cracker bomb went off in a garbage bin in Qasimabad neighbourhood which resulted in the death of a man busy in collecting trash.

However, an investigation is underway to ascertain the nature of cause of the blast.

At least 16 injured in Hyderabad explosion

Sindh IG AD Khawaja has taken notice of the explosion and called for a report from respective SSP in this regard.

On January 19 last year, 16 people were injured in an explosion in the same city of Sindh province.

Unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle had hurled explosives from above Abdul Wahab Shah Jilani Flyover on the shops under the bridge and escaped.

Locals said the sound of the explosion was so intense that the roof of kitchen was completely damaged
