KARACHI: According to a news report, five international airlines are expected to start their operations in Pakistan given the open skies policy which has expanded business prospects for the private airlines. This will, however, add to Pakistan International Airline’s already miserable state, as it has been suffering losses to the tune of billions. Hence, the government is left with two options only, ie, either not to let private airlines venture into the Pakistan aviation industry or to initiate fixing the national carrier.
