CTO visits thoroughfares in Lahore     


LAHORE: The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Liaquat Ali Malik visited various thoroughfares in the city on Sunday.

The CTO also announced cash rewards and commendatory certificates for those officials who will perform their duties with courage and responsibility.

Lady assistant Aqeela and wardens Asif, Mohsin and several others were awarded commendatory certificates.

The CTO also appreciated the performance of those officials who were deployed at Dubai Chowk, Campus Bridge and Bhaikaywala Chowk. He also said that all those wardens who were absent from their posts, should report to the CTO office.

In addition to this, some of the wardens were issue warning notices. Ali said that stern action will be taken against those found to be absent.

Meanwhile, the police continued its operation against kite-flying and manufacturing.
