Film-maker Rajkumar Hirani confirms ‘3 Idiots’ sequel

One of the highest grossing Bollywood films of all time, Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots is all set for a sequel. Released in 2009, the film has a cult following of its own and an entire generation of youngsters growing up with it. 3 Idiots remains one of most popular films even in its many TV re-runs. The director is currently working on the script of the sequel of Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi-starrer. He said, “I definitely want to make a sequel to 3 Idiots. In fact, Abhijat [Joshi, writer] and I started writing something a few days ago. But it’s still in the initial stage and we will take a fair amount of time to develop the script”.

Bakhtawar Bhutto plans legal action against makers of Benazir’s biopic

While news of the Punjab Nahi Jaungi star playing the former prime minister spread like wildfire, Benazir’s elder daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari called the idea “absolutely unacceptable” and vowed to take legal action against the filmmakers. “Certainly no consent from her [Benazir’s] living heirs/children was sought. Absolutely unacceptable and we will be taking action against it,” tweeted Bakhtawar. Mehwish responded saying, “To clarify the rumours circulating… There is a project at the very early stages of development about your amazing mother. This cannot and will not be done without the consent or blessings of your family. I am sure that the team involved will be in touch before they progress further.”

Pakistani teenager attends FIFA 2018 to conduct coin toss in a match

Pakistani teenager Ahmed Raza made it to the match between Brazil and Costa Rica where he joined the match officials for the coin toss. Raza hails from Sialkot and belongs to a family whose older members have been crafting hand-stitched footballs for professional leagues across three generations. This marks the first time a Pakistani was present on the pitch of a FIFA World Cup match in an official capacity.

A source has finally confirmed to Filmfare that the couple is all set to tie the knot this year on November 10. If reports are to be believed, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ whirlwind romance is all set to reach new heights. According to Filmfare, the couple is all set to get engaged by the next month! As it was reported earlier, Nick is currently in India with the former Miss World and had met PeeCee’s mom, Madhu Chopra, there as well.

Maya Ali replaces Mahira Khan in ‘Paray Hut Love’

Asim Raza is all set for his second directorial project titled Paray Hut Love. Initially, the five-time filmmaker had roped in Mahira Khan to play the lead opposite Sheheryar Munawer. However, it has now been confirmed that Maya Ali will be replacing the Bol actor in Paray Hut Love. When questioned on why Mahira was replaced in Paray Hut Love, Asim replied, “Mahira was facing major date issues but there’s no doubt that she has a very special place in my heart. No one can ever replace her.” Paray Hut Love will go on floors in September 2018 with the first spell to be shot in Azaad Jammu Kashmir.
