Eight stolen bikes recovered from suspect


ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Thursday claimed to have recovered eight stolen bikes from a suspect.

A police spokesperson said that the suspect, identified as Waqar, was a resident of Dhok Kashmirian area of Rawalpindi. Tarnol police took the credit of tracing and arresting Waqar.

He had allegedly stolen the two-wheelers from various parts of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Tarnol police have obtained physical custody of Waqar from the relevant court and will be interrogating him in the remand room of the precinct for the next 15 days, the spokesperson said.

Separately, Anti Car Lifting Cell of Islamabad police arrested Lala Karim who was riding a bike that had been snatched from Rawalpindi.

Meanwhile, Khanna police caught Musawir for possessing a stolen motorbike.
