Former interior minister Nisar Ali Khan revealed that choosing he himself chose ‘jeep’ as his electoral symbol.
Addressing a press conference in Taxila, the seasoned politician asserted that he was not in contact with other candidates using jeep as their electoral symbol. “The jeep symbols are not that of electables,” he said. “Two-three candidates in Punjab returned party tickets and chose the jeep instead.”
Dwelling on the upcoming polls, the disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) added that his focus was on the constituencies he was contesting from. “If I wanted to make my own group, I would have created it long time ago.”
