National Accountability Bureau Punjab has requested the anti-graft body’s chief for a helicopter to transport former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz when they return to Pakistan on Friday.
Director General NAB Punjab Saleem Shahzad on Wednesday requested for a helicopter to transport Nawaz and Maryam from the Allama Iqbal International Airport to Islamabad Airport.
The request has been made in case of a precarious situation that could take place because of agitation by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supporters.
