Haris Sohail’s Zimbabwe tour cut-short due to daughter’s illness

KARACHI  : Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed Haris Sohail to return home from ongoing Zimbabwe tour due to his daughter’s illness.

The middle-order batsman was granted permission to return home after he filed a request to the Pakistan team management.

PCB plans to spend Rs916m on domestic cricket next year

Despite Sohail’s absence, the tour committee has decided against asking for a replacement for the left-handed batsman.

Sohail featured in two matches of the recently concluded T20I triangular series in Harare — registering scores of 16 and zero against Zimbabwe and Australia respectively — before being dropped from the side.

Budgeted expenditure has been increased by 89% as compared to previous year
